Our 2010 Show has been and gone - we wanted it to remain a small, friendly, relaxed show, and to reflect the Redgates philosophy that Agility should be fun. From the feedback we received on the day and since the show, we believe we succeeded.
From the Club’s point of view it was our most successful show yet. Entries were around 8% up on last year, with 400 competing dogs, 250 competing handlers, and 200 vehicles coming to our show. The total number of runs was 1290 runs (up from 1145 last year).
As always, we donate the proceeds from the Practice Ring and the Raffle to charity. This year we have been able to give £150 to Wood Green Animal Shelter, and £250 to the
Carver Barracks, 33rd Regiment Royal Engineers, “Injured Soldiers” Fund.
Redgates would like to thanks everyone who helped at our show - our Judges, our Ring Managers, our Sponsors - Naturally Dogs, Just So Rosettes, & Elite Packaging.
Dave Dawkins & STP for donating the Epsom printer / scanner / copier to our raffle.
Our Trade Stands, Mike Flood (for the toilets), Dennis & Pat (owners of our venue), and to everyone who helped set up on the Thursday & Friday, and clear up on the Sunday.
This year handlers could also enter via ISS - we believe that we were one of the first, if not “The First” Independent Show to be available to enter via this means.
Photographs taken at our show by our Trade Stand Beagle Eye Photography can be viewed & purchased from their website.
